Week 1: ABOUT YOU

TOPIC: ABOUT YOU -- Who's who in BA223-Principles of Marketing this term:
My name is Delanie Horvath. I am from a small town down in Southern Oregon called Ashland. The last two previous years I was living all over Portland Oregon. I truly love the City life. Being surrounded by different opportunities in meeting people, scenery and shopping, what more could you ask for. Although that being said, I moved to Corvallis to further my education and social life with peers my age. My major is Marketing and minoring in New Media Communications so this course was apart of my academic requirements. I am most excited about learning the aspects of marketing and what it entails. I have some comprehension towards marketing but mainly a lot of basic business background, so it would be nice to have a class that fully is focused on that area. So far I am loving the aspect of what OSU and LBCC is giving besides the fact that we are in a social pandemic that caused everyone to flee back home. Nothing is wrong with that, I do wish I was able to do so also but I still am working. I am extremely grateful for my job though and I truly enjoy it. I am a teacher at a daycare. I am a lead teacher for the infants; ages between 3 months to a year. I have a extreme passion for it and it is interesting to get to observe the the growing mind of a very young child.
